Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Introduces Action-Packed Buster Max Mode and Exclusive Japan-Only Cards

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection: Action-Oriented Buster Max Mode and Japan-Only Cards

Capcom has announced that the upcoming Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will feature an action-oriented Buster Max mode and Japan-only cards. The collection will include all six entries in the series, which originally released on the Game Boy Advance between 2001 and 2006.

The new Buster Max mode will allow players to unleash rapid-fire shots with the press of a button, making it easier to take out enemies. This mode was previously only available in Japan, but it will be included in the Legacy Collection for players around the world to enjoy.

In addition to Buster Max mode, the Legacy Collection will also include Japan-only cards, which were originally distributed through e-Reader cards. These cards could be scanned by the e-Reader peripheral for the Game Boy Advance and unlocked new content in the Mega Man Battle Network games. However, these cards were never released outside of Japan, making this a rare opportunity for fans outside of the country to experience this content.

The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will also feature various other improvements and enhancements, such as updated graphics and a rewind feature that allows players to quickly undo mistakes or retry difficult sections of the game.

The collection is set to release on multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It is currently available for pre-order and will release on May 17th, 2023.

Overall, the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection offers a wealth of new content and enhancements for fans of the series, as well as a rare opportunity to experience previously Japan-exclusive content. With the inclusion of the action-oriented Buster Max mode and updated graphics, the collection is sure to be a hit among fans and newcomers alike.
